Local assembly support in Chicago and surrounding suburbs
INSTALLIX Services is a small Chicago-area crew that assembles fitness equipment for boutique studios, small gyms, personal training spaces, and fitness rooms in apartment buildings, hotels and offices across Chicago and nearby suburbs.
We assemble treadmills, ellipticals, exercise bikes, rowing machines, stair climbers, selectorized and plate-loaded strength machines, cable machines, functional trainers, power racks, squat racks, benches, dumbbell racks and other manufacturer-supplied fitness equipment.
We don't anchor equipment into concrete floors or walls, mount mirrors or TVs, run electrical for treadmills, install glued flooring, or carry very heavy machines up stairs. If a project needs that, we'll say so up front so you can plan it with your dealer or contractor.
Whether you're opening a new studio, adding equipment to an existing gym, or furnishing a building fitness room, we plan the assembly around your floor plan, delivery date and opening schedule, and confirm every equipment model with you before quoting.
We also take apart, reposition and reassemble equipment when your layout changes. If you're moving to a new location, transport is arranged by you or your moving company.
Every job ends the same way: equipment leveled and tested, packaging moved to your building's designated disposal area, and the workout floor left clean and ready for members. We don't haul packaging off-site.
Warranty requirements vary by manufacturer, dealer, and equipment model. Before scheduling installation with an independent installation company, we recommend confirming the warranty terms directly with the equipment seller, authorized dealer, or manufacturer. Some brands may require installation by an authorized provider, while others allow qualified third-party installation. The customer is responsible for confirming any warranty-related installation requirements before the project begins.
Within limits. We can move boxed equipment from the delivery or staging area to the assembly spot on the same floor or by freight elevator, using dollies and moving straps. Some commercial machines arrive in boxes weighing several hundred pounds; those should be delivered inside by the dealer or freight company. We don't carry very heavy components up stairs. Tell us about stairs, elevators and carrying distance before we quote.
Yes. We can install removable, loose-laid rubber flooring such as interlocking rubber tiles, modular fitness flooring, and similar systems that do not require adhesive or permanent attachment to the subfloor. We do not install flooring that must be glued, mechanically fastened, permanently bonded, or otherwise attached to the building’s floor structure. The flooring type and installation method should be confirmed before the project is scheduled.
We assemble cardio machines, power and squat racks, benches, cable machines, functional trainers, selectorized and plate-loaded strength machines, dumbbell racks, lockers and storage. Scope depends on the equipment model, weight and site access. Send model numbers or product links, and we'll confirm before quoting. We don't drill or anchor into concrete floors or walls.
Yes. After-hours, evening, and weekend assembly can be scheduled when the project and building access allow it. This can be useful for operating gyms, apartment fitness centers, corporate wellness facilities, hotels, and other locations where equipment assembly during normal hours could interfere with members, residents, employees, or normal facility operations.
If we find damaged components, missing hardware, incorrect parts, or another issue that prevents proper assembly, we notify the project contact as soon as possible. We can document the issue with photos or video, continue installing unaffected equipment when practical, and coordinate a return visit after the correct replacement parts or equipment are available.
We break down cardboard, collect plastic wrap, foam and normal assembly debris, and move it to the dumpster, recycling area or loading dock your building or property management designates. Please confirm that spot before the job. Gym equipment packaging adds up quickly, so plan enough space. We do not haul packaging off-site, but we always leave the workout area clean.
Yes. INSTALLIX Services carries General Liability insurance, and a Certificate of Insurance (COI) can be provided when required by a building owner, property manager, commercial facility, apartment community, hotel, or other managed property. Please send the building’s insurance requirements before the installation date so the documentation can be prepared correctly.
For an accurate quote, please provide the equipment list, model names or product links, quantities, installation location, preferred timeline, and any available floor plans or photos. For heavy equipment, also tell us about delivery location, stairs, freight-elevator access, loading docks, carrying distance, whether the boxes are already inside the facility, and where packaging can be left on site.
We serve Chicago and nearby suburbs, roughly within an hour's drive, including Naperville, Oak Brook, Schaumburg, Evanston, Orland Park, Joliet and Chicago neighborhoods. Farther out? Send the location and equipment list and we'll confirm.
We assemble and install manufacturer-supplied furniture, fixtures, and equipment that arrives ready to assemble. From boxed components to a properly assembled, positioned, and ready-to-use commercial space, our team follows the product instructions and your project requirements.
If a part is missing, incorrect, or arrives damaged, we photograph and document the issue and provide the project contact with the information needed for the supplier or manufacturer claim. Whenever practical, we continue with unaffected items so the remaining installation can stay on schedule.
This scope applies to our standard commercial assembly and installation services. If your project has unusual site conditions or special requirements, send us the details before scheduling so we can confirm what is included. Client-provided on-site packaging collection or disposal access is required; off-site hauling is not included unless arranged separately.
Have an equipment list with model numbers, floor plan,
packing list, delivery manifest, manufacturer specs,
invoice or photos? Attach them so we can prepare an
accurate written quote.
