We assemble furniture and equipment for offices, stores, gyms, cafés, and restaurants in Chicago and nearby suburbs. Small jobs welcome. Written quote within one business day.
INSTALLIX SERVICES is a small Chicago-area crew that assembles manufacturer-supplied furniture, fixtures and equipment for offices, stores, gyms, cafés and restaurants in Chicago and nearby suburbs, including the smaller jobs large installation companies turn down.
Our background is more than five years of hands-on furniture assembly: hundreds of desks, cabinets and shelving units for Chicago homeowners. Commercial furniture arrives in the same boxes with the same hardware and instructions — we just apply that experience to business spaces now.
We review every project before scheduling, confirm the scope and price in writing, and can work evenings or weekends so your business stays open. You deal directly with the people doing the work, with no call center and no sales layers.

INSTALLIX SERVICES carries General Liability insurance. If your landlord or building manager requires a Certificate of Insurance (COI), mention it in your request and we'll send it before the job.
We assemble and install manufacturer-supplied furniture, fixtures, and equipment that arrives ready to assemble. From boxed components to a properly assembled, positioned, and ready-to-use commercial space, our team follows the product instructions and your project requirements.
If a part is missing, incorrect, or arrives damaged, we photograph and document the issue and provide the project contact with the information needed for the supplier or manufacturer claim. Whenever practical, we continue with unaffected items so the remaining installation can stay on schedule.
This scope applies to our standard commercial assembly and installation services. If your project has unusual site conditions or special requirements, send us the details before scheduling so we can confirm what is included. Client-provided on-site packaging collection or disposal access is required; off-site hauling is not included unless arranged separately.
Most of our jobs are 5 to 50 items at one location, finished in one or two days: a small office floor, a single store, a studio gym or a café dining room. We assemble manufacturer-supplied furniture and equipment only. If your project is larger, send us the scope and we'll tell you honestly in the first email whether it's a good fit.
Everything stays in writing: the item list, the price, the date and what's included. You can forward the thread to your manager or landlord, and nothing depends on what someone heard on a call. On the day of the job we send updates by text with photos. If you'd rather talk something through, mention it in your message and we'll set up a time.
We break down cardboard, collect packaging and normal assembly debris, and move it to the dumpster, recycling bin, loading dock or other disposal spot your building designates. Please arrange that spot before the job. We do not haul packaging or debris off-site, but we always leave the work area clean and tidy.
Yes. Night, after-hours, and weekend scheduling is available for commercial projects when needed. We understand that closing an office, retail location, restaurant, or other operating business can interrupt normal operations, so we can coordinate assembly times that help reduce downtime and disruption to employees, customers, and guests.
If we discover missing parts, shipping damage, or another issue that prevents proper assembly, we notify the client as soon as possible. When useful, we can provide photo or video documentation of the issue. We can continue with unaffected items when practical and coordinate a return visit for the affected item after the correct replacement parts or product are available.
Our installers have more than five years of hands-on assembly experience. Most of that work was residential furniture assembly, which gave us experience with many manufacturers, product types and assembly instructions. We now bring that experience to commercial assembly for offices, stores, cafés, fitness studios and other business spaces.
Crew size depends on the project. Many smaller commercial installations can be completed by one or two installers. For larger projects, we review the quantity, products, site conditions and timeline before confirming whether we can provide the right crew.
Chicago and the suburbs, roughly within an hour's drive: Palos Hills, Oak Lawn, Orland Park, Naperville, Oak Brook, Schaumburg, Evanston, Joliet and the towns in between. Farther than that, ask: we'll quote it with a travel charge or tell you it isn't worth your money.
A furniture list, supplier invoice or product links, the quantity of each item, the address or ZIP, floor and elevator access, your preferred date, and whether the building requires a Certificate of Insurance. Photos of the boxes are enough to get started.
